Matching Gifts
Matching gifts are a vitally important source of funds for LCFS. Many companies set aside philanthropic dollars and allocate those funds through matching gift programs. These programs allow employees (and oftentimes retirees, spouses, and directors) of the company to make a contribution to a non-profit organization which is then matched by a corporate gift. They are also an increasingly important way for companies to allow their employees to direct a portion of the monies earmarked for charitable contribution. Your employer may match your donation to LCFS, in an amount ranging from 50% to 200%.
To find out if your company includes or will include LCFS in its matching gift program:
- Contact your human resources office
- Obtain a matching gift form, complete your portion and mail it to:

- We will complete our portion of the form and submit the request for matching funds to your employer while returning a copy of the completed form to you so that you will know we have submitted the completed paperwork.
THRIVENT GIVINGPLUS
Your gift to LCFS can accomplish even more. Thrivent Financial and two of its subsidiaries have set aside funds for the GivingPlus Program. Using those funds, Thrivent will contribute $1 for every $2 that a benefit member and those who own Thrivent Mutual Funds and Thrivent Life Insurance Company products donate to LCFS.
Increase Your Gift Through Volunteering
Volunteering is important to Thrivent. When you give at least 25 hours of volunteer service to LCFS, Thrivent Financial or one of its subsidiaries will contribute an additional $25. Members are eligible to add this volunteerism gift to one GivingPlus gift per year
